Wales 3 Peak Challenge

A team from Underwood Insurance - Andy Williams, Dave Brassey, Richard Williams and Geoff Dyer will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for Ty Hafan (who offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children and their families).
This challenge requires the participants to scale the three highest mountains in North, Mid and South Wales in one day. The ‘gentle stroll’ will commence at 4am on 13th June 2009 climbing 3560 ft to the summit of Snowden prior to the drive down to Cadair Idris for a 2930 ft climb which awaits the eager walkers. All that remains is a brisk walk to the top of Pen y Fan with a meagre ascent of 2907 ft and just over 20 miles will be completed in less than 15hrs (fingers crossed).
