As the UK faces uncertain times following six consecutive quarters of negative economic growth and rising inflation, resulting in an increase in insurance fraud.  A news release on the ABI website dated 22/01/10 stated that ‘dishonest claims alone cost (the insurance sector) £2bn per year.’

Due to these difficult times insurance companies are passing these costs on to their customers, therefore many caravan parks could face an increase in their insurance premiums.
